Palmer Hill Trail
The trail meanders through open meadows with beautiful views of forested lands, productive apple trees and historic stone walls. It passes over Bryant’s Brook and also features excellent views of many of the Catskill High Peaks, including Balsam, Eagle, Doubletop, Graham, Balsam Lake, and the Dry Brook Ridge.

South Plattekill via Plattekill Turnpike
Head out on this 3.6-mile out-and-back trail near New Kingston, New York. Generally considered a challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 17 min to complete. This trail is great for hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring.

Kelly Hollow Trail
Check out this 3.4-mile loop trail near Margaretville, New York. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 30 min to complete. This trail is great for camping, cross-country skiing, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through November.
